”Freak!”
”Weirdo! People like you shouldn’t exist!”
Words like these kept ringing in my ears. I had to pass a large group of popular girls to get forward and they didn’t hesitate to make fun of me again. Actually, they never hesitated to make every second of school a living nightmare. Tears blurred my vision as I
half ran through corridors, trying to get to front door and out of the school.
~
Once I was out of the building, I sighed in relief when a light breeze of wind swept through my hair that normally hung in front of my eyes, a little like a curtain between me and the rest of the world. I dug my bag for earphones and set my mp3-player to play my favorite anime opening. For a little while, I was free again.
~
The second I got home, I marched to my room, slammed the door shut and barged to my windowsill - my fortress of comfort. I felt like I could see the whole city sitting on there in fifth floor, observing small people rush by like ants. I lifted pillows behind my back and reached for my laptop. With a smooth wave of my wrist, I opened it and sat it over my thighs.
~
I couldn’t resist it; I had to watch an episode after another. I sat there, mesmerized by my favorite anime character of all time – Makoto Tachibana.
“He’s perfect,” I thought to myself, “kind, gentle, polite… At least he would accept me like I am, and not be like all others in school…”
I blushed at the thought and right after that I got mad at myself for wishing something so childish. A fictional character comes to life just for one miserable little girl? Fairytales.
~
As I shut my computer for the night, I glanced up just in time to see a meteor shower swooshing across the starry eternity. I stared up to the sky for good ten minutes, thoughts still on Makoto.
“I bet his hair is the softest,” I think again without noticing. “And I bet he gives the best kind of hugs…”
I fall asleep there on the windowsill without noticing that my laptop opened by itself, pushed by a hand from the inside.
~
I woke up to sunrise after what seemed like only minutes. I didn’t even realize there was someone else in my room as I collected myself from against the glass and rolled my shoulders to get them to relax. I jumped and let out a scream when I realized there was a really familiar figure at the edge of my bed. A pair of green eyes glimmered and ruffled-up brown hair fell to his eyes as he tilted his head and spoke up.
“Good morning, beautiful.”

Free! Makoto x Reader - Tutoring (College AU)
“I don't get it,” you said finally. “How are you good at Literature but bad at English?”
The boy shrugged. “It's not a big deal, Literature is just easier to grasp.”
“If it's not a big deal, you wouldn't be here,” you pointed out.
You were a tutor with the English department at the University of Tokyo. Makoto's English professor had instructed him to seek help for his less than stellar grades, and you could understand why. It was very rarely you'd get someone who was good at Literature and bad at English, or vice versa. Usually it was all or nothing with the similar subjects. And with a m

Just For Me
Makoto Tachibana x Reader
"Good morning, [Name]."
Your ears perk up at the sweet honey voice of your favorite person. You turn from the window and look up at the tall olive-haired boy who was grinning down at you. "Makoto! G-Good morning to you, too!"
He smiles again, even doing that thing where his eyes close and the corners of his eyes crinkle. You feel your heart skip a beat. Makoto Tachibana was so cute and so nice. You had fallen hard for him because of these traits.
"Ah," you watch as he catches his friend, Haruka Nanase, walk in. "Good morning, Haru."
Haruka mumbles in response as his form of a greeting. Makoto doesn't seem to min

“So adorable,” Makoto mumbled under his breath as he watched you staring at the pretty fish swimming around the ginormous vivarium. He swore he was falling further in love with your the more he stared.
Your huge, curious orbs glimmered with excitement as you were enthralled by the lovely sea creatures.
“Did you say something?” You queried, turning to the side to stare at the olive-brown haired man.
He shook his head, covering his mouth with his fist as he chuckled lig
